This past week I had a few IRL things I had to take care of, so I didn't make as much progress as I would've liked. But I still made progress nonetheless!
The past week I was able to finish two backgrounds, but most of my work was concentrated on this one background, which is an interior/exterior set based on a real life location. This required me to constantly adjust the model to make sure I wasn't straying too far from my references, as well as try to figure out some details that I couldn't find references for. Overall, that made me a lot slower than when I can just pick one or two references and then fill in the gaps without worrying too much about straying from real life.
It also happens to be the location the mystery takes place in, so it needed all the things that go with that — including the new dummies, which you can see a small sneak peek of in the thumbnail for this devlog ;)
Now I have only four backgrounds left, and they are mostly more manageable, though there is one that could easily get out of hand unless I reign it in.
But that's not the only thing I did. To give myself a break from backgrounds, I also composed two new music tracks. I'm featuring more real instruments in this soundtrack, so that's very exciting.
So my goal for the end of next week is the same as my goal from last week: finishing the backgrounds!
Until next time!

I've moved previews and exclusive content to Patreon so that I'll have more to post there. However, I'll still keep posting here on this blog for major news and give summaries on progress, like this one!
